The training event will begin with a 1-day training on Behavioral Threat Assessment and applying structured professional judgment tools–the WAVR-21 and Dechefr–in threat assessment and management. Participants will be supported to gain an understanding of Behavioral Threat Assessment and challenged to consider the nuances, contexts, and contingencies that enable practical, effective, and compassionate threat assessment and management. Students will also be supported to develop skills in the use of SPJs in threat assessment.

Register for Virtual (via Zoom) attendance for October 28th only or for all 3 days. 

If attending the Structured Professional Judgment Tool training (Day 1), the authors of the WAVR-21 recommend that you purchase the WAVR-21 Manual (which comes with 5 coding packets) in advance. WAVR-21 Manuals are not included in the price of the training. WAVR-21 Manuals and additional coding packets can be purchased HERE

The trainings will take place from 9:00 a.m. Eastern until approximately 4:00 p.m. on the 28th and 3:00 pm on the 29th and 30th (with a 1-hour break in the middle).

A Zoom link will be emailed 12 to 18 hours before the training to the email address you provide on your registration form.

There are up to 21 hours of ASIS, APA and SHRM Continuing Education Credits available.
