Managing Extremism and Grievance-Fueled Threats will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 4th, 5th and 6th, 2024, and will be simulcast via Zoom for those who wish to attend virtually.

Day 1 Topics include:

• Extremism and the Workplace: Threat Assessment & Management of Grievance-Fueled Violence (Includes an overview of the WAVR-21 threat assessment tool), with Phillip Saragoza, MD
• Digital Assessment of Verbal, Written and Posted Threats, with Dr. Diana Concannon, PsyD, PCI, CTM

Day 2 Topics include

• Distinguishing between mental illness and “behavior problems” in the workplace, with Phillip Resnick, MD
• Threat Assessment with Female Extremists, with Kostas Katsavdakis, PhD, ABPP
• Grievance-Fueled Violence and Critical Community Connections, with Detective (ret.) Ken Nakamura and Detective Nathan Hance

Day 3 Topics Include

• Management of insider threats, with Ashleigh Diserio
• Managing Disruptions related to Riots, Protests and Rallies (speaker to be revealed soon)
• Threat Assessment Team, Security, and HR perspectives on grievance-fueled threats, IPV, and other threats to safety in the workplace, with  Melissa Muir, JD, MBA and Matt Talbot, PhD, CTM

The trainings will take place from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 4:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight time on each day (with a break for lunch). Lunch will be provided by Ally Financial.
