Continuing Education

Specialized Training Services is approved to offer continuing education to the following professions:

Attorneys: Approved by the CA State Bar. When attending from a state outside California, please contact your State Bar to see if they have reciprocity with California.

Licensed Counselors: STS is specifically approved for licensed counselors in TX. STS is approved for Licensed Mental Health Counselors in Florida.

Licensed MFT’s: Approved provider in CA and FL. When attending from a state outside those listed above or on the program brochure, please contact your licensing board to see if they have reciprocity with the states listed or accept APA approved programs.

Licensed Social Workers: Approved in CA, IL, FL, OH, TX, and several other States on a program by program basis. When attending from a state outside those listed above or on the program brochure, please contact your licensing board to see if they have reciprocity with the states listed or accept APA approved programs.

Nurses: Approved in CA by the Board of Registered Nursing. When attending from a state outside California, please contact your licensing board to see if they have reciprocity with California.

Probation/Parole: Approved in TX on a program by program basis.

Psychologists: Specialized Training Services, Inc. is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Specialized Training Services, Inc. maintains responsibility for the program and its content.

Sex Offender Treatment Providers: Approved in TX on a program by program basis.
