Diana M. Concannon

PsyD, PCI, CTM

Diana Concannon, Principal, CPW Consulting Group, is a forensic psychologist with more than two decades experience providing threat management and crisis intervention services in myriad contexts. She conducts workplace violence investigations, assists agencies, corporations, and educational institutions to establish threat assessment teams and workplace violence prevention programs, and administers psychological evaluations, including fitness-for-duty and violence risk assessments. Dr. Concannon is licensed as a psychologist in California, New York, Washington DC, and Utah. She is an ASIS Professional Certified Investigator, and an Association of Threat Assessment Professionals Certified Threat Manager, International Association of Crime Analysts, and American Psychological Association, among others.

She is author of Kidnapping: An Investigator’s Guide, and Neurocriminology: Forensic and Legal Applications, Public Policy Implications, and is frequently interviewed on topics related to mental health, domestic violence extremism, and conflict resolution. She is Dean of the California School of Forensic Studies at Alliant International University, where she also serves as Associate Provost for Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships. She is an ASIS Professional Certified Investigator, an Association of Threat Assessment Professionals Certified Threat Manager, a member of the International Association of Crime Analyst and of the American Psychological Association, among others.

Lissa Parker, Principal, CPW Consulting Group, is an investigative psychologist and certified violence prevention specialist who consults with law enforcement and community members to support the prevention and investigation of intimate partner, workplace and school violence. She is a subject matter expert in threat assessment and management and in investigative and criminal psychology, and she aids institutions, government agencies, and corporations in developing, implementing and managing their safety and security policies, programs and strategies.

In addition to her work with CPW, Dr. Parker is a lecturer with CSU, Fresno and Director of the Master of Science, Forensic Behavioral Sciences program at the California School of Forensic Studies at Alliant International University. She also serves as co-director of the Violence & Safety Institute and heads the Institute’s Targeted Attacks Research Project. She is an active member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, the International Association of Crime Analysis, ASIS, IACP, and the International Association of Forensic Criminologists.

Dale White, Principal, CPW Consulting Group, is a forensic psychologist, with more than two decades’ experience working with the criminal justice system. He is an expert in violence risk assessment and testifies frequently as an expert witness.

In addition to his work with CPW, Dr. White has spent more than 20 years supervising and training prospective forensic psychologists, currently serving as a supervisor and trainer of licensed psychologists and paraprofessionals responsible for conducting violence risk assessment and management.

LIVE & VIRTUAL TRAININGS / WORKSHOPS

What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made via email at least one week in advance of the first day of a training if requesting a refund. Cancellation made within the one-week window will be partially refunded, with the remaining balance provided as a Specialized Training Services credit

What happens if a training has to be cancelled by Specialized Training Services?

You will be offered a 100% refund or a 115% credit toward future purchases, trainings, etc.

CANCELLATION

What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be provided in writing. The policy is clearly stated on every program brochure and on our website for the program in question. Please check these two locations for the cancellation policy for that particular meeting. What happens if a meeting has to be cancelled by STS?

CONTINUING EDUCATION

How many CEUs will I receive?
Continuing Education Units will vary depending upon the training, but are commonly counted at 7 hours per day. Contact us at info@specializedtraining.com with any questions about a specific training or workshop.

For orders in California, 9.5% sales tax will be added to your order.

How are products shipped?
All products are shipped the same or next business day from our shipping location in central California.

What is the estimated delivery time?

ï  Standard domestic shipping is done with Media Mail. Media Mail is not guaranteed and can take up to 2 weeks in some cases. Media Mail is not available outside the USA

ï  Priority shipping within the United States takes 2 or 3 days depending on your location.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, personal and business checks as well as purchase orders from reputable companies inside the USA.
Credit Cards: The credit cards we accept are Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We do not accept American Express and cannot process your order with this card and will have to wait to ship until we have another form of payment.
Checks: Company and Personal checks are accepted. A $25.00 fee will be charged for any bounced check.
Purchase Orders: Purchase orders are only accepted from reputable U.S. companies.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

What will shipping cost?
It is very difficult to determine how much shipping will cost since the rates vary so much depending on the destination and the weight. Please allow more time on international orders so that we can research how much shipping will cost.

How long will an international order take to arrive?
This is also very difficult to determine. Depending on the service used and how long customs service can take, some shipments will take close to a month. Contact us via phone or email so that we can research the estimated shipping time.

Do you accept foreign Purchase Orders?
No. All foreign orders must be prepaid and checks must be drawn from a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars.

OTHER

Can I order a desk copy?
In some cases. Desk copies can be provided to verified instructors in institutions of higher education. Desk copies are only available for STS-published titles. 


What happens if my order, or part of it, is backordered?
Depending on the status of the backorder, we may wait to ship the whole order at one time or we may split the order up and make separate shipments. Your order will not be charged until it is shipped, and we will notify you if the order is expected to be held up for more than a few days.

Can I return all or part of my order?
We will gladly accept returns and pay for return shipping if we made an error. Returns must be authorized prior to the return. Returned items must be in new, re-sellable condition. Please contact us at info@specializedtraining.com about any desire to return something to us. When we authorize a return, we will email you a pre-paid shipping label.
